An interaction program on ILO 169 has organised on 30 April 2012 in Pokhara on the occasion of three day, 29 April-1 May 2012, international conference on ILO 169 and IPs rights to self determination. Representatives of various IPs groups and activists have participated program. General Secretary of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP) foundation Ms Joan Carling also attended the program.

The IPs leaders and CA members cast doubt in addressing IPs demands and issues in the new constitution as the principal leaders are changing their stances regarding IPs demands for their petty interest. They also opined ‘IPOs, IPs, IPs CA members and activists should play peaceful and constructive role to pressurise the law makers in addressing IPs issues and demands in new constitution.
